New reports have revealed that Manchester United are in talks with Thomas Lemar’s representative to seal up a deal with them to bring the Frenchman into Manchester United. The 24-year-old Atletico Madrid midfielder is one the best wingers in Europe. He prides himself among others for his ability to dribble, and create chances for goals. Since he came into Atletico Madrid in 2018, he has played over 48 goals and scored about three goals in total.

Reasonably, his buy out clause is around £30,000, which wouldn’t be hard to find for Manchester United to get.

What will be his contributions to Manchester United team upon arrival?

If Manchester United is able to seal and complete the deal with his representative and the player lands in the English team, he will pair with the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Fred and Scott McTominay. But if this is the plan of the red devils, what will be the fate of Paul Pogba who is fast recovering from injury and he’s set to join the team when the suspension is over and coronavirus is fully controlled.

What will happen to Paul Pogba

Currently, the team is doing perfectly okay without the French midfielder. The arrival of Bruno Fernandes has kicked the midfield and fans are gradually forgetting about French players. More so, earlier this week, Paul Pogba sparked outrage online after he shared a video of himself training in Juventus jersey. He, however, claimed that he did that support his fellow national teammate, Blaise Matuidi who is currently tested positive for COVID-19.

Though, he explained that he doesn’t have a hidden motive for wearing the Juventus jersey, but that doesn’t seem to please hundreds of Manchester United fans online. Many of them got into his timeline and dropped a shady comment calling on the management of the club to sell the Frenchman.

Reasonably, Thomas Lemar’s deal might be the reaction of Manchester United to the video Paul Pogba shared online.
