Victor Osimhen transfer news update

Victor Osimhen is yet to settle for a new club after reaching an agreement with Napoli to leave the club this summer.

Transfer news

The Nigeria international, who emerged as the highest goalscorer in Napoli’s 2022-23 title-winning campaign, is linked to a move to PSG and Chelsea.

PSG have reportedly agreed on personal terms with Victor Osimhen but talks with Napoli have stalled due to their high transfer fee.

Amidst PSG’s slack in the race for the 25-year-old, Chelsea are emerging into the picture. According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are not ready to foot Victor Osimhen’s £110m release clause but are open to a swap loan deal that could see their out-of-favor forward Romelu Lukaku move to Napoli.

However, Osimhen is reportedly not ready for an ordinary loan deal with Chelsea but one with an obligation to buy as he doesn’t want to return to Napoli after leaving the club.

Eddie Nketiah transfer news update

French Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Marseille are reportedly ready to pay £17m for out-of-favor Arsenal attacking midfielder, Eddie Nketiah.

Arsenal are still holding on to their £50m valuation of the player but talks with Marseille are said to be ongoing for a deal.

Nketiah, 25, has three years left on his £100,000-a-week Arsenal contract after he penned down a new contract extension with the club in 2022.

Jordan Ayew to leave Crystal Palace

32-year-old Ghana international is set to leave Crystal Palace this summer. The Eagles are reportedly open to Ayew’s exit but hope to bag a suitable offer for the player. Leicester City are leading the list of clubs interested in the former Aston Villa and Swansea star.

Ramon Souza

Paraguayan striker Ramon Souza has emerged as a top transfer target for Premier League clubs.

Nottingham Forest are said to be interested in the 24-year-old but are set to face stiff competition from Merseyside outfit and Premier League rivals Everton.

Conor Gallagher to Atlético Madrid transfer news update

Conor Gallagher is reportedly close to completing a move to Atletico Madrid in La Liga.

Chelsea are close to reaching an agreement for Gallagher’s exit but the two sides are still stuck on the transfer fee.

According to the Mail, the Blues will necessarily have to peck down their asking price for Gallagher if they want to secure a transfer for the player. Atletico Madrid are reportedly holding out for £30m while the Blues want £50m.

Meanwhile, Gallagher has reportedly rejected a new three-year offer by the Blues. So, the London club risks losing him on a free transfer after next season if they can’t sell him this summer.

Reiss Nelson to Leicester City suffer setback

Reiss Nelson could continue his career at Arsenal or move elsewhere apart from Leicester City. The Foxes have reportedly suffered a setback in their inability to convince Arsenal to reduce their asking price for the player.

Reiss Nelson has three years left on his Arsenal contract but could leave this summer due to lack of game time.

New Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho is said to be open to parting ways with the club’s 27-year-old winger, Ryan Kent. Leeds United are interested and have submitted an opening £2.5m offer for the player.

PSG reach agreement with Benfica

PSG have finally reached agreement with Portuguese giants Benfica to sign highly-rated young midfielder Joao Neves.

The Ligue 1 giants are said to pay Benfica £58.56m as transfer fee and £8.42m as add-ons.

Neves had agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 champions long before PSG settled with Benfica on club terms.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Renato Sanchez, 25, has moved in the opposite direction on loan.

Other transfer news update

Premier League club Nottingham Forest are closing in on a deal to sign Jota Silva, 2, from Vitoria Guimaraes for (£5.9m)

FC Lorient and French defender Isaak Toure, 21, has attracted interest from Premier League Wolves but the Molineux-based side are set to face competition from domestic rivals Fulham, who are also interested in the player.

Meanwhile, the Cottagers have reached an agreement a deal to with Villarreal to sign their 24-year-old Spanish center-back Jorge Cuenca.
