Victor Osimhen transfer news update

Victor Osimhen

According to reports, Victor Osimhen is hoping to join Chelsea rather than making a multimillion-dollar shift to Saudi Arabia. Of course, Osimhen himself, with big interest coming from the Gulf state, will welcome a move to the Premier League with Chelsea being his first choice. A move to the London club will see the player fulfill his dream of playing for Chelsea in the Premier League.

Raheem Sterling ready for talks with Chelsea

Sterling wants further talks with Chelsea on what lies ahead for him at the club before he makes his mind up. While the 29-year-old England winger has made Manchester United an option, sources close to the player reveal he is not in a haste to take a decision.

Transfer news update

Sterling has had a bit of a mixed spell at Stamford Bridge and is open to a new challenge away from the London club.

According to the Telegraph, the former Manchester City winger wants to return to Manchester but, this time, to the Red side of the City – Manchester United. He is reportedly ready to take a pay cut for the move to happen.

Eddie Nketiah transfer news update

Crystal Palace are nearing the capture of Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah in a deal worth £25 million, including £5 million in add-ons. The 25-year-old has found it hugely hard to nail down a regular spot at the Emirates. Crystal Palace have reportedly assured the player of regular game time at Selhurst Park and are hopeful of snapping him before the transfer window closes.

Meanwhile, Odsonne Edouard will have to leave Crystal Palace should Eddie Nketiah join the club. Scottish champions Celtic are interested in a permanent move for the 26-year-old French striker.

Matheus Nunes transfer news update

Atletico are looking at a loan deal for Manchester City’s Portuguese midfielder Matheus Nunes. The 25-year-old has struggled to force his way into the City first team, but a spell in La Liga could work wonders for him. No offer is deemed to have been launched just as yet but he is expected to leave following the return of IIkay Gundogan.

Liverpool have signed Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili but have reportedly shipped him out to La Liga Club Valencia on loan.

Other transfer updates

Nottingham Forest have targeted a transfer for the 29-year-old England midfielder James Ward-Prowse, whose future is not part of the new plans for Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham.

In Ward-Prowse, Forest would get a good centrepiece to their squad, which will involve many changes coming in. Forest is preparing an offer, although West Ham is not actively looking to sell the player, as reported by Football Insider.

Meanwhile, other reports claim West Ham are not looking to actively offload Ward-Prowse but would listen to good offers. That leaves the door slightly ajar for a potential deal before the transfer window closes.

Nottingham Forest’s move for Feyenoord and Mexico striker Santiago Gimenez has been dealt a big blow. The 23-year-old forward rejected a £29m move to join the Premier League side. Forest had hoped to land Gimenez in their bid to improve their firepower but that non-resolution has sunk the deal.
