Chelsea in shock move for Jadon Sancho

Manchester United’s Premier League rivals Chelsea have made a shock move to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho. Sancho, 24, is contracted to Manchester United till 2026 but is linked to an exit from the club this summer.

According to The Telegraph, the Blues have entered the race for Sancho with a few days left to the close of the transfer window. The report adds that the London club are ready to offer out-of-favour winger Raheem Sterling for Sancho.

Recall Sterling was frozen out of the Chelsea squad and is looking to continue his career elsewhere. He has been linked to a move to Saudi Arabia, but close sources reveal he wants to continue in the Premier League and is ready to take a pay cut to do that.

Scott Mctominay transfer news update

We reported earlier that Manchester United have reached an agreement with Napoli to sell Scott Mctominay to the Serie A side. The Red Devils accepted a €30million offer from the 2022-23 Serie A champions for Mctominay.

Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, all is set for Mctominay to switch from Manchester to Naples in Italy. He has reportedly agreed personal terms with Napoli for the move. However, details of his contract have yet to be revealed.

Manuel Ugarte transfer news update

According to ESPN, the sale of Scott Mctominay is set to boost Manchester United’s pursuit of PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte. Ugarte, 23, had emerged as a top transfer target for United. However, the Red Devils needed to part ways with Mctominay to step up proceedings for the Uruguay international.

With Mctominay transfer sorted, Ugarte’s deal is set to be concluded soon. The 23-year-old reportedly wants Manchester United despite the club’s lack of Champions League football, but the English side will have to pay PSG’s £51million asking price for the player.

Eddie Nketiah transfer news update

Despite recent setbacks, Eddie Nketiah could be leaving Arsenal this summer. We reported earlier that Nottingham Forest’s move for the England midfielder is on the verge of collapse.

Another Premier League club, Crystal Palace, has now filled the void with a keen interest in the 25-year-old. According to the Athletic, Crystal Palace are hoping to seal a deadline-day move for the attacking midfielder.

The return of IIkay Gundogan is set to force Manchester City into the transfer market to offload some players. According to Football Insider, Matheus Nunes, who joined from Wolves, could leave this summer to make way for Gundogan.
