Juventus Are Set to Announce the Signing of Italian goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio

In the latest transfer news, Serie A giants, Juventus will announce the signing of Italian goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio in July 2024. Juventus paid €18 million to Monza, with €2 million in add-ons. 

The goalkeeper signed a five-year contract with Juventus with a €2 million per-season salary.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper turned down a move to Liverpool and jumped to Juventus in order to work with Thiago Motta.

Currently, the Juventus side are working to sell Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny to Saudi Arabian Pro League giants, Al Nassr; however, a deal has not been agreed upon by the two teams.

Samuel Lling and Enzo Barrenechea Complete Second Medical Ahead of the Move to Aston Villa

Samuel Iling-Junior and Enzo Barrenechea will have their medicals at Aston Villa after they were involved in the swap deal to bring Douglas Luiz to Turin. 

The two Juventus youngsters were part of the players plus cash deal, which will take Luiz to the Serie A, with Juventus getting ready to pay a transfer fee worth £18.5 million. 

Luiz, who is currently on international duty with the Brazil national team for the Copa America, will have his own medical in America.

Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie was initially part of the swap deal, but his wages were a stumbling block to the swap deal.

The defender has one year left on his contract, with both Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen working to ensure they conclude on a significant transfer fee.

The 28-year-old centre back made 353 appearances for the reigning Bundesliga Champions. He scored 14 goals and created 12 assists in all club competitions.

The defender was an integral part of the Bayer Leverkusen team that won the Bundesliga in the 2023–24 season.

Fiorentina Open Talks To Sign Juventus Striker Moise Kean

Fiorentina have opened talks with Juventus striker Moise Kean over a summer move to the Stadio Artemio Franchi. The 24-year-old returned to Turin after an unsuccessful loan spell at Everton.

The player failed to participate in matches while he was at Everton because he was sidelined for three months.

The Talks between those teams are progressing with the player keen on making the move. The fee will be around the region of €12 million.

Genoa CEO Andres Blazquez has revealed that the club will be looking forward to keeping Tottenham Hotspur loanee Djed Spence at the club. 

The CEO revealed this during an interview, saying, “I’d be happy to keep Djed Spence at the club; he was doing great here on loan, but it doesn’t depend on us.

“Spence would be happy to stay in Genoa. But Tottenham are a rich club.” The former England star has failed to impress at Tottenham Hotspur after arriving from Middlesbrough in 2022.”

Ange Postecoglou deemed Spence surplus to requirements with the defender spending the first half of the 2023–24 campaign with Leeds United.

He subsequently went to Genoa in the second season.
