Serie A giants Napoli are interested in a move for Romelu Lukaku. The 31-year-old Chelsea forward, who played for Roma last season, is likely to continue his career in Serie A.
Chelsea are open to Lukaku’s permanent exit, having loaned out the player on several occasions but they want £37million for a permanent transfer. Lukaku has equally expressed interest in joining Napoli. The Belgium international reportedly wants to link up with his former manager at Inter Milan, Antonio Conte, who is now the club’s manager.

Everton forward, Calvert-Lewin, is still on Newcastle United’s transfer radar after an initial setback during talks with Everton.
Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe wants the 27-year-old in his attacking options for the upcoming campaign. According to Football Insider, Howe is ready to relaunch another attempt to sign Calvert-Lewin despite the first failed attempt.
Mario Balotelli close to Corinthians move
Premier League legend and former Italy international, Mario Balotelli is close to a footballing return.
The former Manchester City, Liverpool, Inter Milan, and AC Milan forward has reportedly reached an agreement with Corinthians to join the club as a free agent.
Corinthians will be Balotelli’s 13th club throughout his professional football career. He has played for top clubs in Europe across top leagues in over-a-decade career.
Nico Williams transfer update
Nico Williams is close to joining Barcelona from Athletic Bilbao. An update from La Liga president Javier Tebas, made available by Spanish outlet, sport, reveals Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao are close to agreeing on a deal for the youngster.
Recall Arsenal were also linked to Nico Williams but were dealt a blow as the 22-year-old only wanted to continue his career in La Liga instead of moving to the Premier League.
Riccardo Calafiori transfer news update
While losing out on Nico Williams’ transfer, Arsenal are set to secure a deal for Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori. The London club have reportedly reached an agreement with Bologna on key details of the deal for Calafiori with only final details of the move left to be settled.
Calafiori starred for Italy in Euro 2024 in Germany with a series of brilliant performances. He was also crucial to Bologna’s terrific run in the 2023-24 Serie A campaign.
Kepa Arrizabalega transfer news update
Out-of-favor Chelsea goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalega, is close to a move to Saudi Arabia.
2023-24 Saudi Pro League champions, Al-Ittihad, are said to be interested in Arrizabalega and have opened talks with his representatives.
The 29-year-old spent last season on loan to Real Madrid and is due back to Chelsea. However, he is considered out of the club’s squad plan under the watch of new manager Enzo Maresca.
