Bologna have rejected Arsenal’s first bid for Riccardo Calafiori. The Gunners reportedly tabled £39.8m for the defender while Bologna want £42.3millilon. Chelsea are also interested in the 22-year-old.

Arsenal are set to wrestle with Real Madrid to keep highly-rated French defender William Saliba. Los Blancos are reportedly interested in Saliba and could make a move for the player. Saliba penned down a new Arsenal contract in 2023. He has three years left on his deal.
