Broja is now pushing, that’s why he’s flying back to England.
Armando Broja spoke to Thomas Tuchel to get some clarity on his future. It was reiterated that Chelsea doesn’t want to sell him. So a lot now depends on Broja himself. Broja is currently unsettled and sources indicate he will be “relieved” to resolve his future.
Broja along with Harvey Vale and Billy Gilmour have left the first team camp with Broja heading to England and Vale and Gilmour having left to potentially join up with the Dev Squad in the U.S.
Broja spent last season on loan at The Saints netting six premier league goals in 21 matches and was one of Southampton’s top players. He returned to Chelsea at the end of the season and held talks with head coach Thomas Tuchel over his future at the club.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel said: “Armando Broja is our player first of all, and as of now we have no interest in selling him. He’s here to make an impression.”
West Ham have submitted a €35m bid for Broja, but it’s up to Chelsea to decide on the winger’s future.
The Albanian forward who has a transfer market value of €22m has had two loan spells outside the blues. He spent the 2020/2021 season with the Dutch outfit Vitesse netting 10 goals in 30 Eredivisie league games and spent the 2021/2022 season at Premier League club Southampton.
He has a total of 12 goals for Chelsea’s under-18 side. He also helped his country in the world cup qualifiers with 3 goals and 2 assists in 7 matches.
His departure has seen some Chelsea fans question his zeal and determination for the club.
Just seen that Broja is the one to actually push for this move, that changes everything then. The brother hasn’t scored in 5 months and thinks he’s prime Diego Costa, relax.

Chelsea have signed Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibali already this summer. The Premier League side are trying to add more reinforcement with rumors of the club close to landing Presnel Kimpembe from PSG and also a likely move for Sevilla’s Jules Kounde.
The Stamford Bridge outfit are still ramping up its summer plans for the new season. They played their first preseason match with Club America in the FC series and are looking forward to playing Charlotte FC on Thursday and then Chelsea during the weekend.
