Bournemouth pulled off a dramatic win against Tottenham Hotspur, bouncing on Pedro Porro’s mistake in a thrilling 3-2 victory away from home.

On Saturday afternoon, April 15, Tottenham hosted Bournemouth at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium looking to keep up their drive for the top four.

South Korea star, Son Heung Min gave the Spurs the lead after 14 minutes, but goals from Bournemouth’s Matias Vina and Dominic Solanke made it 2-1 for the visitors after 51 minutes.

Despite Spur’s equalizer from Arnaut Danjuma in the 88th minute, Tottenham failed to hold on to the draw as Dango Ouattara shocked the home fans with a die minute-winning goal in the 95th minute.

Tottenham Hotspur ended up losing to Bournemouth 3-2 in what appears to be a depressing afternoon for Cristian Stellini and his squad.

Meanwhile, Pedro Porro was instrumental in Bournemouth’s second goal after a mistake from the Spain International permitted the Cherries to build their attack.

Following the 3-2 loss, it has been noticed that the Spaniard, Porro has deactivated both his Twitter and Instagram accounts presumably to avoid any abuse from Tottenham fans.

Sanchez, who was subbed in the 35th minute was cruelly booed by the Tottenham crowd for being involved in the goal and was humiliated until he was taken off by the manager in the 58th minute.

Sanchez was distraught by the harsh treatment of the supporters and this wrath of Tottenham’s fans is what Porro decided to escape by deactivating his social media accounts.

Pedro Porro who was involved in both the goals conceded must have also been on the receiving end of insult online which has now led to him deactivating his Instagram and Twitter accounts.

The attitude of some supporters towards their players on social media has been a growing concern in recent years, with footballers often receiving abusive messages, threats, and discrimination.

The Spaniard’s decision to deactivate his social media accounts indicates the hostile effect fans’ abuse can have on players’ mental health.

Spurs boss Stellini said after the match that his team relented after they conceded. They showed no fighting spirit and that has to stop.

Stellini said: “I assess that today we played two different games. We played a good game until we scored and after we conceded the second goal.

“What is in the middle is not the mindset we have to use because we started the game well. When we scored we dropped.”

“We dropped again. We have to change this type of mindset. We have said many times that we need to continue to go strong and try to keep the ball in their half of the pitch. We did this only when we were 2-1 down.”

He added: “It’s a habit we have, it’s not the first time, it’s a long time that we do this. But we have to be perfect in the defensive situation.”

Tottenham’s boss also commented on the two costly mistakes that brought them a defeat on their home soil.

The Spurs boss admitted that it’s not a tactical problem while pointing at the individuals involved.

He said: “Today we were not so perfect because we allowed them to score with two mistakes. This is a problem, it’s not a tactical problem, it’s an individual problem, a mistake.”

Following the loss, Tottenham find themselves fifth in the Premier League table.

They are three points behind Manchester United who occupy the fourth place but have played two games more.

Spurs have made just one win from their last four Premier League outings.

    What’s next for Tottenham?

Tottenham Hotspur will be back in the Premier League action next Sunday as they take on Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.
