Feyenoord boss Arne Slot had looked like he was going to join the North London side as new boss, but the deal fell through.

Slot revealed that he plans to stay with the Eredivisie side and not move to England after he had meetings with the club’s executive on Thursday.

Tottenham have been without a manager for 60 days and counting since they fired Antonio Conte after he condemned the team following a 3-3 draw with Southampton.

Spurs also surprisingly snubbed former manager Mauricio Pochettino with the Argentine set to join London rivals Chelsea.

Daniel Levy and Co are still in the market looking for ways and means to appoint a new sporting director.

While the London club are set to find a manager to fill the vacant position, Futballnews looks at the top contenders:

    Luis Enrique

Enrique, who was a former coach of Barcelona, has been out of job since he left his position as the head coach of Spain national team.

He resigned his position at the national team after his team were eliminated from the Qatar 2022 World Cup by Morocco.

Luis Enrique was previously wanted by Chelsea but the Spaniard did not make the final shortlist a they went for Pochettino.

Recent reports have it that Tottenham are planning to speak to the 52-year-old as regards the vacant position at the club.

    Ange Postecoglou

Postecoglou has been a brilliant manager and has helped Celtic attain the top level in the Scottish league over the past two seasons.

Celtic have been playing attractive football under the 57-year-old manager scoring many goals while dominating their league.

Ange Postecoglou was reportedly wanted by Tottenham as he was on their shortlist last month.

    Julian Nagelsmann

Julian Nagelsmann was recently replaced by former Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich and has ben without a job since then.

The German was also shortlisted by Tottenham and the club made him a priority to fill the managerial vacancy at the club.

He was however ruled out by Spurs despite his CV but he could be picked again due to limited options.

    Graham Potter

Graham Potter suffered a disappointing spell when he was at Chelsea before he was shown the exit doors in early April.

Potter was a manager on the shortlist of Tottenham Hotspurs even before he became the manager of Chelsea and still is.

Conte and Jose Mourinho – who were former Chelsea bosses – failed at Tottenham, hence Spurs’ management might not want to try another former Chelsea manager.

    Luciano Spalletti

Luciano Spalletti is reportedly on the verge of leaving Napoli despite helping the club win the first Italian Serie A in 33 years.

The experienced Italian revealed that he has fallen out with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis and his contract talks have been halted.

Spalletti is also on the Shortlist of manager wanted by Tottenham Hotspurs as he has shown he can win trophies regardless of the team.

    Brendan Rogers

Brendan Rogers has been heavily linked with Tottenham several times in the last 10 years but an agreement has never been reached with the former Leicester manager.

Rodgers’ reputation is currently at its lowest point after he was sacked by Leicester despite good performance in his managerial career.

Rodgers is not known for playing the kind of free-flowing football that fans crave and will somewhat be an unpopular appointment at Tottenham.

    Ruud Van Nistelrooy

Van Nistelrooy, a Manchester United legend, left his club PSV with a game left to play and revealed that there was “lack of support” from within the club.

The former star striker helped PSV to KNVB Cup and Johan Cruyff Shield successes in his debut season at the club,

He is currently without a job after leaving the Dutch club and Tottenham might seize the opportunity to bring him to London.

    Andre Pirlo

Pirlo, who was one of the best midfielders in his playing days, was fired by Turkish club Fatih Karagumruk earlier in the week.

Pirlo had a disastrous outing as Juventus boss before he moved to the Turkish League, where he even performed worse than in Italy.

Tottenham fans might not really be enthusiastic with their support should the club go ahead and hire Andre Pirlo given his performances so far.

Here are all the available managers out there that Spurs’ management could hire, which of them do you think will suit the club and amaze the hungry fans?
