Tottenham’s injury crisis has deepened with Brazil international Emerson Royal set to miss the rest of the season after a knee injury.
Emerson Royal made Ramon Menezes’s Brazil squad for the international break and was featured in the team’s first friendly in the international break against Morocco.

He is set to undergo a surgical operation on his knee when he touched down in London from the Brazil squad.
Tottenham will now face a tough test as they hit the last lap of the Premier League season without Emerson Royal who was a regular back man for the Lilywhites.

Emerson Royal joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2021 for £25m as a Barcelona loanee to Real Betis.
He signed a five year contract and has made 53 appearances for the club, scoring three goals.
