Other Premier League Players Accused of Rape That Will Play in the 2023-24 Season
The Manchester United winger was accused of rape while he was on football duty against Bournemouth on May 20, 2023.
Antony was also accused of domestic violence by his ex-girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin. The footballer reacted to the accusation by saying Cavallin would hear from his lawyer.
However, he is the top right-winger for Manchester United. He will surely participate in the 2023–24 Premier League season.
Erik Ten Hag is not ready to put the player away from the squad as he is looking forward to winning the Premier League.
2. Mason Greenwood
It was reported recently that former Manchester United winger Greenwood may get to play for the Red Devils this season, but it is left for the Glazers family to make a decision on his future at the club.
Erik Ten Hag doesn’t have any say in whether the England international stays at the club or not. In the 2021/22 season, Mason was accused of rape by Harriet Robson his girlfriend, now the mother of his son.
He had so many endorsement deals terminated due to the scandal, but Manchester United failed to release the player due to his excellent talent.
Mason’s inclusion in the Manchester United squad for the 2023–24 season will be a boost for Erik Ten Hag, who needs competition on the right wing.
