As the 2021-22 season approaches, the fight for top scorers is heating up once more, and there are a few more contenders this time around.
Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Manchester United, while Romelu Lukaku has returned to Chelsea, and both will be looking to write their names into history.

Mohamed Salah, a two-time Premier League Golden Boot winner, finished second last season and is aiming for his third individual award in 2021-22 as he attempts to lead Liverpool to the title.

In 2018-19, Sadio Mane, a Liverpool winger, shared the Golden Boot trophy with teammate Mohamed Salah and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but his goal production has dropped in prior seasons.
