Toni Kroos has seemingly stirred up optimism in Real Madrid fans regarding the arrival of Kylian Mbappe after the midfielder shared a story to his Instagram account.

Kroos shared a video where he was seen at a soccer camp at his academy which is based in Cologne, Germany.

The video uploaded to his story showed a child wearing a white shirt, possibly that of Real Madrid, with the number 7 imprinted on it and Kylian Mbappe’s name.

Mbappe, who has been handed an ultimatum by the president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khalaifi for him to decide over his future, is currently enjoying the off-season in Cameroon.

The ultimatum handed to Kylian Mbappe by Paris Saint Germain has a deadline slated for the 31st of July, 2023.

Kylian Mbappe has to extend his deal with the Parisians or he will be officially put up for a potential sale.

It has been reported that Fiorentino Perez expects Paris Saint Germain to peg their asking price for the Frenchman at about €200 million.

Amidst the ongoing happenings, Toni Kroos has ignited belief in Madrid’s supporters that the 24-year-old might be coming to the Spanish capital with the post he shared on Instagram.

Reports from L’Equipe indicate that there has been a verbal agreement between Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe that he will exit Paris in 2024, if he decides that he wants out of PSG.

Nasser Al-Khalaifi says Mbappe won’t leave PSG for free

However, Nasser Al-Khalaifi has stated boastfully that he will not let go of his priced asset for free.

He said: “We want him to stay, but we cannot lose the best player in the world for free.

“That would be unbecoming of him, who is a great guy: to do so would weaken us.”
