The former Paris Saint-Germain manager took over as Chelsea manager in the middle of last season and has stated that he wishes to remain at Stamford Bridge.

The former PSG manager took over from Frank Lampard midway through the season and oversaw a dramatic turnaround in fortunes for the Blues, culminating in Champions League victory.

Abramovich is expected to sell the club if the Ukraine-Russia conflict worsens, prompting speculation that Tuchel may accompany him to Manchester United as Ralf Rangnick’s replacement – but the coach has dismissed such speculation.

Thomas Tuchel stated, “I hope I made it quite apparent that I am extremely content where I am.” “My initial talks were with Marina [Granovskaia] and Petr [Cech], and they continue to be with these two, who, aside from the owner, are the club’s spokesmen and most decisive people.”

“I was associated with them and enjoyed it, and it was a perfect fit for me until now, and I hope it will continue to be so.” Personally, I see no need to entertain any thoughts of losing that.”

“It is far from finished here, and it has only just begun, but it is so hopeful; we have a good group and a powerful club.”

Tuchel reaffirms his willingness to stay

“Sometimes in life and in professional life, you need the luck to enter an environment where you feel yourself comfortable and everyone else feels comfortable with you,” the German said.

“For the time being, I believe this is the case, which I quite appreciate, and I am not eager, at all, to change.”

When new owners take over, they bring their own views about how they want to run the club, as well as who they want to be in charge of it all.

Tuchel has already shown himself, but his future is far from assured. When is it certain, he joked during his news conference?

However, Chelsea’s head coach declared his wish to remain with the club in a letter to whoever succeeds Abramovich.
