Following another horrendous campaign in Europe for PSG which appears to be the new norm for the French side, Kylian Mbappe is been urged to sign for Real Madrid as soon as possible.

Paris Saint Germain lost by 3-0 on aggregate to Bayern Munich after an horrific showing in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

After the defeat to Bayern Munich, Kylian Mbappe was reluctant to give details on his future with PSG as rumors over a move to Real Madrid continue to soldier on.

Mbappe penned a deal with the Parisians in the summer of 2022 but he might be considering a move away from the club based on current grounds.

The team tutored by Christophe Galtier have pegged an asking price of £200 million if any team wants to sign the dazzling forward, in spite of talks that he could leave on a free transfer next summer.

Nevertheless, Kylian Mbappe is being encouraged to exit the French Capital in quick time. Jamie Carragher, whilst speaking after the loss of PSG to Bayern Munich in the UCL urged him to exit the French side for the betterment of his footballing career.

“Mbappe has to leave PSG as soon as possible. They are not close to winning the Champions League and I don’t think they will improve enough next year to be able to win it. The sooner he leaves and goes to Real Madrid, the better it will be for him.”

Spanish heavyweight Real Madrid are highly considering snatching Kylian Mbappe from PSG, in the midst of speculations that they are also chasing a possible acquisition of Erling Haaland in the summer transfer window.

We would have our lens and gaze at the Spanish club to see if they would push for the signature of both players in the next transfer window.

Jamie Carragher also emphasized his delight seeing the French club crash out of the UEFA Champions League as goals from Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Serge Gnabry condemned PSG to Champions League exit for the umpteenth time.

Carragher said: “I’m delighted PSG have gone out, I just don’t like the whole set-up, everything about it.”

Kylian Mbappe after the game outlined the difference between PSG and Bayern Munich after their elimination on Tuesday night.

He said: “Not much when you look at the state of both teams. They have a great team, they have a great squad, they have a team that is built to win the Champions League.

“As I said at the beginning of the season, in my first Champions League press conference, we were going to do our maximum. Our maximum, that’s it, that’s the truth.”

The Frenchman added that Paris Saint Germain would now concentrate on the Ligue 1 where they presently sit at the summit of the table with 63 points after 26 matches.
