The girlfriend of Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina Rodriguez, has disclosed the challenges faced by her children at school in Saudi Arabia.
The household moved to Riyadh some months ago following the termination of Ronaldo’s contract by Manchester United.
Cristiano Ronaldo afterwards joined Al Nassr in a staggering £175-million-a-year deal and he has been staying in a new city.
The Ronaldo family have had a few problems acclimatizing to life in Saudi Arabia and Georgina Rodriguez established that her kids have had some challenges at school.
In an interview with Spanish media outlet Telemundo, she stated:
“At school there are times when they get hit and they don’t defend themselves and they sink, the other day one of my children arrived who had been hit, I received him and he starts crying, ‘Mom!’
“And I thought he had caught a hand, I tell him what’s wrong with you, what’s wrong with you ‘A child hit me’, and I tell him: ‘Well, and you don’t know how to defend yourself with what you warm up at home?
“Of course I instill in them so much not to hit. Don’t hit your brothers, you tell me that if you hit and he hits you I have to punish both of you, but if they hit you and you don’t hit I don’t punish you, and of course at school they do what same as at home. I will also tell you that I would not like my children to be caning others.”
In spite of the difficulties faced by the household, Cristiano Ronaldo has adapted to life quickly in the Saudi Arabian top-flight league.
Ronaldo has scored 9 goals and made 2 assists in just 10 matches for Al Nassr. In the last international break. Ronaldo returned to lethal form for Portugal as he netted a brace in both games for the side during the March international break.
The former Real Madrid attacker scored against Luxembourg and Liechtenstein as Portugal seek to book their spot at the European Championships that will go down in 2024.
Ronaldo also became the most capped player in International football as he made his 197th cap against Luxembourg before adding up to that tally against Liechtenstein.
Georgina Rodriguez recently said she and Cristiano Ronaldo are married in the eyes of God.
Recently in an interview with a media outlet in Spain, El Hormiguero, Giorgina Rodriguez claimed that she and Cristiano Ronaldo are married in the “eyes of God”.
The football great also showed his swashbuckling side with music dedicated to his partner, Georgina Rodriguez.
On the Argentine model’s Netflix series, “I am Georgina”, the pair is seen hosting a get-together in Lisbon where Ronaldo pledged a touching number to his partner.
Nininho, who is a Portuguese flamenco singer was also invited in addition to Portuguese players Ricardo Quaresma and Diogo Dalot.
The high point of the night was when Ronaldo sang his dearest song, Mine. Afterwards, the Portuguese did a slow dance with Georgina. She said:
“The whole summer we listened to Nininho. Cris knows all his songs by heart. Cristiano is the love of my life.”
The boyfriend of Georgina Rodriguez would be hoping to guide his side Al Nassr to a first Saudi Pro League title since the 2018/19 league campaign this season.
