Spain vs. Italy: The Spanish side qualified for the knockout stage of Euro 2024 after defeating Italy.

The Spain national team showed total dominance against the Italy national team that tested Spain goalkeeper Unai Simon in the 86th minute of the game.

The Spanish side went ahead in the second half of the game via an own goal from Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori, who was impressive for the Italy national team in their first match against Albania.

Apart from their own goal, the Spain national team deserved to win by a huge goal margin with excellent creative ability. Italy goalkeeper Donnarumma stopped the riot from happening in the game due to his saving ability.

Spain winger Nico Williams had a free header in the 10th minute of the game, but he failed to convert it with his attempt going wide.

In the 24th minute of the game, Donnarumma made another crucial save to deny Alvaro Morata from scoring a goal.

Donnarumma made yet another save in the 25th minute of the game. The Italian goalkeeper pushed away Fabian Ruiz’s attempt on goal.

Donnarumma was again called into action by Spain midfielder Fabian Ruiz in the 41st minute. The Italy national team had their first shot off target in the 45th minute of the game.

Another big chance came into Spain path with Pedri having an opportunity to score a goal, but his attempt went wide.

The Spain national team almost had the second goal in the 71st minute of the game with Nico Williams attempt hitting the crossbar. 

The Italian side forced Unai Simon into a save for the first time in the game. The Spanish goalkeeper, Simon, was called into action in the 86th minute of the game.

In the 91st minute of the game, Spanish attacker Perez forced Donnarumma into another save with a beautiful shot from a distance. A few minutes later, Donnarumma saved another attempt from Perez.

The Spain national team will play against the Albania national team on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. It is expected to be an easy game for the Spanish side.

On the other hand, the Italy national team will play against the Croatia national team in a must-win match for the nation on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 8:00 p.m.
