Jose Mourinho must have angered the Premiere League “Gods” or simply not having a good start to his new management Club. Another key player is ruled out and this time for three whole months!!! Midfielder, Moussa Sissoko, picked up a knee injury during the 1-0 defeat to Southampton on New Year’s and despite managing to complete 90 minutes is set for a spell on the sidelines.
Mourinho, who is currently without another midfielder in the club’s record signing, Tanguy Ndombele, while star striker Harry Kane is out with a hamstring injury.
The Frenchman, who has started all but two of Spurs Premier League games under Jose, has been ruled out till April, the club have confirmed.
“Following a clinical assessment and scans, Moussa Sissoko has today (Tuesday) undergone surgery to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee,” a club statement read.
Sissoko is expected to commence rehabilitation with a view to returning to training in early April.
