“It’s special because I get to play here with my friends at the highest level. It certainly wouldn’t feel the same at a different club.”

According to Serge Gnabry, he still wants to experience more great moments with the German Bundesliga champions and he’s hungry to win more major trophies. Bayern Munich are confident that the German player is at the right stage in his career.

However, their hitman Robert Lewandowski is expected to join Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona in a few days.

Bayern Munich Chief Executive Officer Oliver Kahn also reacted to Serge Gnabry’s contract renewal by saying that he is a player who’s loved by the fans and the club is happy to see him stay a little longer with them.

According to Oliver Kahn, Serge Gnabry is an important player who joined the club at the age of 22 but has grown to become a Champions League winner with Bayern Munich.

He added that the club needs top international players to achieve their big objectives.
