Bayern Munich and Germany player, Serge Gnabry has officially signed a new contract with the German Bundesliga champions and has brought an end to the rumors linking him with a move away from the club.
The Germany international was heavily linked with a move to big clubs like Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea this summer but he has decided to continue playing for Bayern Munich.
The new contract will keep Serge Gnabry at FC Bayern Munich until 2026. The 27-year-old will continue his amazing career with the German champions for four more years after he joined them from Werder Bremen in 2017.
Serge Gnabry has been an important addition to the squad and has won numerous titles including the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League titles.
“I thought a lot about what I want as a player in the coming years and concluded that I want to stay at Bayern, win everything again here and experience things – in particular celebrating another Champions League title, but this time with our fans, he told the club official website.
“It’s special because I get to play here with my friends at the highest level. It certainly wouldn’t feel the same at a different club.”
According to Serge Gnabry, he still wants to experience more great moments with the German Bundesliga champions and he’s hungry to win more major trophies. Bayern Munich are confident that the German player is at the right stage in his career.
