The number of goals scored by footballers have been a major determining factor used by fans to argue their way on who is the best and greatest of all time.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are now the two footballers left in the conversion on who is the Greatest Of All Time. They have most goals ever in the game with over a thousand matches played.
As of the time of filing this report, Cristiano Ronaldo is 30 goals better than Lionel Messi. He has 849 goals against Lionel Messi’s 819 goals.
Lionel Messi may not catch up with Cristiano Ronaldo on the all-time goal tally due to the following reasons;
- Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be more fit and energetic than Lionel Messi despite being two-year older than Messi. Messi is sparingly used at Inter Miami recently due to an undisclosed injury but Cristiano Ronaldo has been balling weekn-in and week-out for Al Nassr.
- The Saudi Pro League is more hectic than the MLS. Cristiano Ronaldo will certainly play more games than Messi as both sticks to Saudi Pro League and MLS respectively. Messi is also on the disadvantage already as Inter Miami fail to qualify for MLS Playoffs.
- Cristiano Ronaldo has more top and experienced players at Al Nassr than Lionel Messi has at Inter Miami. The likes of Sadio Mane, Talisca, Aymeric Laporte, Alex Telles will helped Ronaldo continue in his prolific scoring run for Al Nassr.
