PSG star Neymar injured his ankle over the weekend when PSG was playing against Saint-Etienne. The Brazilian striker landed awkwardly and was carted off while crying profusely.
We have new updates on Neymar’s ankle injury and it’s now known that he will miss six to eight weeks of football due to a damaged ligament in his left ankle.
After the game, Neymar promised to come back stronger from the injury. “Unfortunately, these setbacks are a part of an athlete’s life,” he said on Instagram. “Now you have to raise your head and move on. I will come back better and stronger.”
PSG doctors are expected to carry out more test in the next 72 hours to determine the type of treatment that Neymar will undergo.
