Villarreal forward, Samuel Chukwueze decided to celebrate his team’s qualification for the UEFA Champions League quarter-final stage with some serious dance moves.
The 22-year-old Nigerian right-winger who played a vital role in ensuring that Villarreal stunned Juventus 3-0 in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 on Wednesday, March 16, danced profusely to the amazement of his teammates.
Samuel Chukwueze’s dance moves thrilled even the verified Instagram page of the UEFA Champions League that the handler of the page had to share the clip of the dance moves.
In the video, Chukwueze was seen in the locker room in the company of his teammates after Villarreal had knocked out Italian Serie A giants from this Season’s UEFA Champions League campaign 1-4 on aggregate.
A song by a Nigerian female singer, Yemi Alade titled “Do As I Do” featuring late Ivorian artist DJ Arafat was blasting in the background while Samuel Chukwueze danced to his satisfaction.
After minutes of dancing in the presence of his teammates who were thrilled by Chukwueze’s dance moves, the footballer shyly returned to his seat.
Based on a video Villarreal posted on their verified Twitter page, it was not only Chukwueze that rocked to the Yemi Alade’s song which was released in 2016. Ivorian left-back, Serge Aurier was actively involved in the dance party.
Immediately the Nigeria international had his seat, Aurier who is not new to Afrobeat sound, picked up himself and showed some dance moves. He did that for some seconds before he returned to his seat.

Why Samuel Chukwueze and the rest of Villarreal’s players were so excited
When Villarreal were paired to play against Juventus in the UEFA Champions League round of 16, most football enthusiasts though it would be a walk in the park for the Italian team.
In the first leg of the tie, Juventus were able to get a 1-1 draw away from home and they were expected to finish the job in Turin in the second leg.
However, the second leg ended up terribly for the Italian giants. The introduction of Samuel Chukwueze in the 64th minute changed everything about the game in favor of Villarreal.

As it stands, Villarreal could battle Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Benfica, Liverpool, Manchester City, or Atletico Madrid in the last eight of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League.
However, based on the fact that Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are also Spanish teams, Villarreal is most likely to face Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, or Benfica.
