Saka and Alexandre Lacazette helped Arsenal to avoid another defeat

    Arsenal had another rough start while playing against Standard Liege in the Europa League match that took place in Belgium. The club continues to struggle after firing its former head coach Unai Emery and his replacement hasn’t shown much improvement.

    Freddie Ljungberg took over as Arsenal’s interim head coach, he is also having a rough time getting a good performance from his team. Arsenal v Standard Liege game was a draw until after the half time when Standard Liege scored 2 goals. Samuel Bastien (47′) and Selim Amallah (69′) scored both goals for Liege.

    Arsenal’s frustration grew deeper as Liege continue to press but they missed most of their chances to put the game away. Later in the second half, Alexandre Lacazette found the back of the net at the 78 minutes to make the match 2 – 1, and Bukayo Saka scored the second goal at the 81st minutes. The match ended as a draw and Arsenal was lucky to avoid another defeat.
