    Keane, who is a Manchester United Legend, was engrossed in the complete action in Sheffield as Mark Selby and Luca Brecel went head-to-head.

    The former player who is 51 years old, was spotted in the audience grinning as he watched the second session from his seat.

    He was fascinated as he watched Mark Selby make history with a first-ever 147 break in the final.

    The Sky Sports Pundit applauded The Jester from Leicester alongside the rest of the audience.

    Roy Keane however, is not a stranger to The Crucible as he is a regular member in the arena.

    The Irishman has been more like a permanent staple and he also watched Stuart Bingham defeat Shaun Murphy in 2015.

    The former midfielder was told that he unknowingly distracted Neil Robertson in his match with Marco Fu in 2017.

    Neil Robertson spoke to Stephen Hendry in an interview on the Scot’s YouTube channel after he lost concentration in the match.

    He said: “I’m thinking ‘oh my god, I can’t miss in the balls here or he’s gonna think I’m terrible! It was actually quite off-putting.”

    Roy Keane is not only interested in watching the Snooker game, he is also an ardent fan and follower of the sport.
