A furious Cristiano Ronaldo took to his Instagram insisting he feels fine after still battling COVID-19.
Due to the dreaded virus, Ronaldo was ruled out of the 2-0 loss against Barcelona at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
The superstar then appeared to attack the PCR test used to detect COVID-19, doubting its efficacy.
The Juventus star contracted the virus while on International duty on October 13. He has always been asymptomatic but yet to recover from it.
Ronaldo posted a picture on Instagram writing “Feeling good and healthy” but then he added a comment that put into doubt the efficiency of swab tests used to detect the virus: “PCR is bulls….,’ he wrote.
However, few hours later, Ronaldo cancelled the comment.
Ronaldo shows support for Juve as he battles COVID-19
Since he is currently off the field, the five-time world footballer of the year is sending his support to Juventus before their game against Barcelona.
As the Turin giant lost the clash 2-0, Ronaldo will expectedly be thinking of the action. a 14th-minute strike from Ousmane Dembele and a 90th-minute strike from Lionel Messi was enough to grab the maximum point from Donald Koeman’s men.
The result is coming few days after losing the El Classico clash to Real Madrid 3-1 at the Camp Nou.
The result takes Barcelona to the top of the table while Juventus is second. Hungarian champions, Ferecvaros and Dynamo Kiev share the third and fourth spot after playing a 2-2 draw in the other game.
He is known as a workaholic who likes being on the field all the time. Former Juve coach, Maurizio Sarri had once revealed that the Portuguese have a high level of recovery rate.
All Ronaldo will be thinking about now is to recover from COVID-19 and get back to do what he knows how to do best.
Thus it is believed that will be match fit once he succeeds in recovering from the virus.
He further recorded another video in isolation training with a machine to show that he is doing fine. He complemented the video writing:
Come on guys!
All together!
Until the end!
Forza Ragazzi!
