There is a lot of uncertainty at Stamford Bridge right now, after club owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by the UK government, and there have been rumors that the Blues may be forced to sell some of its highest-paid players this summer.

Lukaku returned to Chelsea in a club-record move last year, but the Belgium international has struggled to find his best form this season, scoring just five goals in the Premier League.

In an interview with Italian media at the end of last year, the 28-year-old stated that he was already looking to return to Inter as soon as possible.

Lukaku is willing to drop his wage expectations in order to win a loan switch to Inter at the conclusion of the season, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The striker ‘needs to be moved’ due to Chelsea’s current troubles, according to the source, and he would like to return to the Italian champions above any other team, despite reports that Barcelona is keeping an eye on the situation.

Romelu Lukaku joined Inter from Manchester United in the summer of 2019 and scored 64 goals and added 16 assists in 95 games for the Serie A giants.

Lukaku is enraged by claims that he is trying to take advantage of Chelsea’s circumstances and has stated that he has no plans to leave the club.

Juventus are also interested in signing Jorginho, a 30-year-old Chelsea midfielder, and Emerson Palmieri, a 27-year-old left-back presently on loan at Lyon.

Barcelona is also keeping an eye on the Chelsea issue, with two of its Spain internationals — left-back Marcos Alonso, 31, and right-back Cesar Azpilicueta, 32, who is out of contract in the summer – attracting interest.

Saudi Media’s offer to buy Chelsea includes ambitions to renovate Stamford Bridge and extend the contracts of players like Azpilicueta and Germany defender Antonio Rudiger, whose current contract expires this summer.

Mohamed Salah, 29, of Egypt, wants to stay in the Premier League if he and Liverpool cannot reach an agreement on a new contract.
