Mason Greenwood is now a top transfer target for clubs as Manchester United part ways with the embattled young forward.

After months of internal enquiry and investigations into the alleged rape saga, Manchester United finally decided to part ways with Greenwood.

A club statement confirming the decision revealed Manchester United, Mason Greenwood’s family, and Greenwood himself, have agreed for an exit solution for the youngster away from Old Trafford.

The statement also revealed Mason Greenwood did not commit the said offense but has admitted he made mistakes of which he has learned from.

Manchester United also debunked viral report last week which claimed the club were ready to bring back Mason Greenwood. They maintained a reintegration of Mason Greenwood into Man United squad was an option nevertheless but as the investigation evolved, the club opted for an exit solution for Greenwood as the most reliable decision.
