Barcelona attacker Robert Lewandowski has climbed up to third place of the all-time highest goalscorer in the top five leagues in Europe.
With 366 goals scored so far by the Polish striker, he is now a goal ahead of legendary Bayern Munich striker Gerd Muller, who scored 365 goals before he considered retirement.
Also, the Barcelona striker is on the same level as former Tottenham Hotspur striker Jimmy Greaves, who has scored 366 goals.
However, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are well above the striker in terms of number of goals.
Messi scored 496 goals while Ronaldo had 495 goals before they left Europe for America and Saudi Arabia, respectively.
Messi reached this incredible goal tally in 577 games during his playing time at Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
Ronaldo needed 626 matches before he was able to achieve a 495 goal tally during his playing time in the Premier League, Portuguese League, La Liga, and Serie A.
There are higher chances that Lewandowski may succeed in scoring more goals and close the gap on those two greatest of all time.

The Polish striker is likely to end the season as the top scorer if he keeps scoring goals at the highest pace.

The big Norwegian has the technical ability to score more than 20 goals in the Premier League.
However, there are major concerns about his scoring ability after he went blank for a couple of games in the Premier League.
Lewandowski’s impressive stats have led Barcelona to the top of the Spanish La Liga table with 27 points so far.
They are currently three points ahead of their archrival, Real Madrid.
