Robert Lewandowski: Herbert Hainer, president of Bayern Munich, has issued a transfer warning to the Polish International, saying that the forward linked to Barcelona must remain with the club until 2023.

Lewandowski has spent the last eight years of his professional career with Bayern Munich, where he has won 17 trophies, including eight Bundesliga crowns and the Champions League.
The 33-year-contract old’s expires in a year, and he stated that he will not sign an extension after the club’s 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg on Saturday.

“I can confirm that I spoke to Hasan [Salihamidzic] and informed him that the choice had been made… and that I will not be renewing my contract with FC Bayern,” Lewandowski said to Sky Germany.
“Both parties must consider the future. It’s best if we can find a solution that benefits both parties.”
The Polish striker also hinted at a summer exit, alleging that he has yet to receive a Bayern Munich renewal offer.

Bayern Munich’s Contract with Lewandowski
Following media rumors that Lewandowski would join one of a number of clubs, he signed a four-year contract with Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund in June 2010, for a reported sum of roughly €4.5 million.
The 33-year-old arrived on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund in 2014 and has won the Bundesliga and the Champions League every year since.
Barcelona has been mentioned as a possible destination for Lewandowski, and coach Xavi Hernandez did not rule out the possibility of getting the striker earlier on Saturday.
