The wives and girlfriends of England national team players in Qatar were treated to a live performance by Robbie Williams. The Three Lions under Gareth Southgate are preparing for their quarterfinal match against France at 20:00 on Saturday, 10th of December, 2022.
While the Three Lions are preparing for their quarterfinal, the fashionable WAGs of the England World Cup team went to see Robbie Williams perform live.
The Angels singer paid a visit to Qatar earlier in the week before Gareth Southgate’s team’s match against France in the round of eight.
Nevertheless, the lovers of the English players decided to enjoy a night of good music. Jack Grealish’s girlfriend Sasha Attwood, Harry Maguire’s wife Fern were spotted at the musical concert. Also, Luke Shaw’s girlfriend Anouska Santos, and Conor Gallagher’s partner Aine May Kennedy were also seen at the event.
Fern, Harry Maguire’s partner, and the other glam WAGs were photographed exiting the concert. Most of the WAGS carried refreshments and bottled water as they exited the venue.
On Wednesday night, the singer paid a visit to the Three Lions camp near their Al Wakhra training facility in Doha to meet the players and coach Southgate.
The musician seemed to perform several songs that evening at the Souq Al Wakra base, days before the crucial match with France.
Robbie Williams, the singer of the hit song “Let Me Entertain You,” earlier stated that he will perform in Qatar despite the oppressive legislation against LGBTQ+ rights and the country’s violations of human rights.
The 48-year-old, who rose to fame as a member of Take That, defended his choice to perform in the Gulf nation last month in the face of criticism of its human rights record.
He (Robbie Williams) also loves football a lot and founded the Soccer Aid charity match that pitted England’s World XI team against celebrities and former players.
When Robbie Williams showed up at their team hotel to meet the players and later perform his greatest songs, the players were overjoyed to see him.
“Robbie was here with us last night, he was just by the pool, he sang us a couple of songs, and it was a fantastic night,” England and Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips told reporters.

Meanwhile, key midfielder Declan Rice returned to training on Thursday after missing two days due to sickness, and Raheem Sterling also returned to Qatar after having a few days off to visit his family in London, adding to the positive energy in the camp. Recall that the Chelsea forward had to return to England squad after having his Surrey home broken into.
However, given his limited preparation time and the toll the past few days have taken on his body and mind, it is unlikely he will play a significant or even any part against France.
Additionally, earlier in the ongoing competition, former England captain David Beckham visited them. A video of Bukayo Saka respectfully asking for a selfie with the 115-cap midfielder went viral.

As a member of the “Golden Generation” team, Beckham made it to the World Cup quarterfinals. Southgate’s team, on the other hand, has advanced to the semifinal and championship games in the last two major tournaments.

As Southgate men will lock horns with France at the Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar on Saturday, 10th of December, 2022, the three lions will be looking forward to advancing into the next round of the tournament. The match will kick off at 20:00.
