Lucas Moura made a return to football action featuring for Tottenham U-21 in a game against Arsenal. The Tottenham star scored in the 26th minute to level the scores in the first half after Arsenal have taken the lead courtesy of Cozier-Duberry’s 21st minute strike.

Lucas Moura’s goal helped Tottenham secure a comeback win over Arsenal away from home, with John scoring the winner for Tottenham in the 61st minute.

Richarlison made a cheeky sign aimed at Lucas Moura, showing his support for him. He was on the sidelines watching and cheering Moura as he found the back of the net during the game to help the team secure a hard-fought win over Arsenal.

The Brazil international held up a banner that reads: ‘Lucas, could you give me your shirt?

Another woman was also spotted beside Richarlison holding up poster which was aimed at Lucas. The woman was requesting a picture with the Tottenham star. Her poster read: ‘Lucas I came a long way just to see you. Can you take a picture with me?’

Lucas Moura fell off the ranking in Tottenham’s starting XI and has failed to make an appearance for the club since their 4-3 win over Leeds in November. His injury compounded his Tottenham misfortunes.

Lucas Moura suffered and struggled with a tendon injury which ruled him out of action for much of the 2022/23 season. He had played for only 266 minutes for Tottenham this season.

His five-year contract at the club is set to expire at the end of the season, and the club was expected to trigger extension clause on December 31 but didn’t.

As things stand, he is likely to leave the club after the expiration of his contract as a free agent.

Amidst the stalled contract talks and injury crisis, Tottenham confirmed Lucas Moura is likely to make a return from injury and was started in the club U-21 clash against Arsenal.

This season, he has featured in 11 matches for the Lilywhites and has struggled to break into the starting lineup.

His Brazil pal and Tottenham teammate, Richarlison is said to be his top fan. Richarlison defied his World Cup injury to cheer Lucas Moura against Arsenal before demanded his shirt.

Lucas Moura is tipped to start for Tottenham in their FA Cup clash against Preston with Harry Kane being a major doubt following an illness.
