Real Madrid’s Sergio Regulion Offered to Manchester United.

    After playing a crucial part in Sevilla’s UEFA Europa League Campaign, Sergio Reguilon has returned to his parent club, Real Madrid.

    However, with Ferland Mendy and Marcelo Zinedine Zidane’s preferred choices for the left-back option, Regulion looks set for another season outside the Santiago Bernabeu.

    According to Sky Sports Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid have offered the full-back to Manchester United as the Los Blancos aim to trim their squad size.

    A host of top clubs across Europe have been linked with a move for the left-back, including Premier League side Chelsea. However, the Blues opted to go for former Leicester City man Ben Chilwell instead.

    Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer club’s hierarchy are reportedly considering Regulion as an option and will decide whether to pursue a deal in the coming days.

    However, interest in Regulion is still high and Manchester United will still face stiff competition for his signature as Sevilla has also asked Madrid for a second loan stint after impressing last season.

    Should the Red Devils complete a deal for the Spaniard, he would provide serious competition for Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams.

    Last season, Sevilla dumped Manchester United out of the Europa League in the semi-finals En route to clinching the title.

    In that tie, Regulion capped a superb performance with an assist, as he set up the opening goal. The LaLiga outfit managed a 2-1 victory courtesy of goals from Suso and Luuk de Jong.

    Tottenham Hotspur are also rumored interested in bring the Spaniard to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

    It is reported that Jose Mourinho has even contacted Reguilon via phone call, attempting to convince the full-back star to sign for Tottenham.

    Regulion is currently on international duties with the Spanish national team but his yet to make his senior international debut.
