Real Madrid needs just four points to win their 35th La Liga title after a thrilling victory over Osasuna, despite Karim Benzema missing two penalties in the first 10 minutes of the second half.
Madrid took the lead with David Alaba, but Osasuna responded through Ante Budimir.
On the stroke of half-time, Marco Asensio put the visitors back in ahead.
Sergio Herrera stopped two spot-kicks for Benzema before Lucas Vazquez sealed the win in stoppage time.
Osasuna played with vigor throughout but fell behind after 12 minutes when Benzema found Alaba, whose initial shot was blocked by Herrera, but he was quick enough to score the rebound.
Budimir turned home Chimy Avila’s drilled cross at the back post to bring the hosts level two minutes later.
As halftime approached, Asensio linked up with Eduardo Camavinga before bursting into the box and tapping home the rebound after Herrera parried Dani Ceballos’ attempt.
Madrid wasted two chances to seal the victory in the first ten minutes of the game. Chimy took control of the situation at first, but Benzema was outwitted by Herrera, who saved to his right.
Soon after, a collision between Nacho Vidal and Rodrygo resulted in a second penalty, but Herrera won the mental struggle to save Benzema from scoring his 40th goal in 40 games this season.
Substitute Vinicius Junior set up Vazquez for Madrid’s third goal after striking wide himself in the final minutes.
