The 28-year-old midfielder has been rumored to be in talks with Manchester United for a potential transfer deal in summer. James Rodriguez returned to Real Madrid after his two-year loan spell with German giant club Bayern Munich expired. His 2019/2020 season was characterized by frustration having featured in only 13 games for the Los Blancos throughout the season.

Considering his age and style of play, it is expected that the 28-year-old would exit the club to find a better playing chance in another club. Rumors have linked the Colombian star player with a transfer to Old Trafford in the next transfer window.

However, Rodriguez might find it difficult to find good playing time in Old Trafford due to the fact that the English club already has enough exciting players. Also, Manchester United is believed to be in talks with Aston Villa over Jack Grealish deal. Critics opined that the Aston Villa skipper would be a perfect replacement for Paul Pogba who has been posed to exit the club in summer.

James Rodriguez seems to be left concerned about the uncertainty surrounding his future in Santiago Bernabeu as he continues to train to keep himself fit pending the time football will return and his fate will be decided.
