La Liga Real Madrid are balancing a deal for Super Eagles attacker, Samuel Chukwueze currently playing for Villareal.
According to Don Balon’s Alberto Rambla, the Spanish medium said Madrid wants to add the Nigerian striker to their players. Real Madrid supremo, Florentino Pérez is saving tags on Chukwueze earlier of a possible bid.
However, Los Blancos still want to bolster their attack. The Nigerian international is rated around €30 million but the Yellow Submarine set a release clause of €63 million into his latest contract.
Chukwueze finishes ninth in voting for the Kopa awards for the under 21 players. He did not attend the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris on Monday. Juventus defender Matthijis de Ligt won the award for the best performing player ahead of Chukwueze, Joan Felix, Jadon Sancho, among others.
Nevertheless, the Super Eagles star is also on the radar of the Premier League and Bundesliga clubs aside Madrid.
He has 11 goals for Villarreal and five assists in 52 matches.
