Amid rumors linking him to Real Madrid exit at the end of the 2023/24 season, Carlo Ancelotti continuously stayed glued to his game and was focused on helping the club establish their dominance in Spanish and European football.

Despite distancing himself from rumors of his imminent exit from dugout at Santiago Bernabeu, Ancelotti came head-on with a bold declaration by Brazil FA that he is primed to take over as Brazil national team coach when he runs out his contract with Real Madrid.

The Brazil FA fancied the Italian tactician as a long-term option to replace Tite.

Now, it appears the Brazil FA will have to explore other alternatives and stop banking on Ancelotti as Real Madrid have reportedly initiated moves to extend his contract.

Relevo reports Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to renew Carlo Ancelotti’s contract as he considers the former Chelsea manager as the best hand for Real Madrid project.

Perez wants to continue with Carlo Ancelotti. Sources close to the club have revealed a two-year contract renewal proposal is on the table to extend Ancelotti’s stay with the Los Blancos till 2026.

Carlo Ancelotti rejoined Real Madrid as manager in 2021, signing a three-year contract till 2024. It is his second stint as manager at the club after his previous stint from 2013 to 2015.

He has won one La Liga title, two Champions League titles, two Copa Del Rey, one Supercopa de Espana, two UEFA Super Cup, and two FIFA Club World Cup.
