Both sides were at daggers drawn, in an encounter involving Saudi Arabian team, Al Hilal against European giants, Real Madrid as hostilities got underway at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat, Morocco.

Real Madrid were dominant for most spells in the game, as they controlled the tempo against the Saudi Arabian side, directing it to where they want it to sway.

Until the White Angels opened scoring in the thirteenth minute, Al Hilal were strong defensively as they blocked channels that could cause inroads into their defence.

After the flood gates of goals were opened, Real Madrid strolled over the team nicknamed “Al-Za’eem” but they were occasionally worried of threats that arose from Al-Hilal’s counter attacking play.

How the goals went in during the Real Madrid V Al-Hilal battle

In the 13th minute, Real Madrid fired the first salvo as Vinicius Junior grabbed his first goal of the game. The Brazilian put the ball behind the goalie of Al-Hilal after a perfectly placed through ball was served to him.

Vinicius Junior controlled the ball nicely before firing his effort past Almuaiouf, to pen his name on the scoresheet in the Club World Cup final.

Five minutes after, on the eighteenth (18th) minute, Federico Valverde struck again for Real Madrid and it was looking like the game was heading for a long night for the Al-Hilal side, as they couldn’t calm the pressure that was mounting on them.

Federico Valverde smashed it beautifully well from close range after reacting fastest in Al-Hilal’s box.

It was seemingly like fire and brimstone, as the White Angels continued to show their superiority with Karim Benzema trying his luck from a long way out.

Real Madrid’s continuous push and Al-Hilal’s seeming road to redemption

Benzema’s attempt troubled the palms of the Al-Hilal keeper, who breathes an heavy sigh of relief, as his defence then did the clean up.

Al Hilal hit back with a goal of their own, on the twenty-sixth minute, as a counter attack that was well set up for Moussa Marega in glory land, resulted in Marega placing Lunin, who couldn’t do enough to stop the well hit shot from going in.

The Spanish and European giants, still continued to assert dominance in the game but Al-Hilal appeared not to be a pushover.

Anthony Taylor blew for half time and Real Madrid went into the break ahead of the Saudi Arabian side.

After the restart of the interval, Ancelotti’s well oiled and drilled team still progressed in showing their superiority over Al-Hilal as they put one further on minute fifty-four (54).

Karim Benzema was the sole finisher of the third goal, as he scored his first and only goal in the game, in a wonderfully well-worked passing move that saw Benzema, Vinicus Jr, and Valverde all getting in on the act.

Federico Valverde made it four, to move Real Madrid further clear of Al-Hilal and to put day light between both sides.

Luciano Vietto did his best in making the scoreline look respectable, as he scored the second goal for Al-Hilal and his first goal of the evening in Rabat, Morocco.

Vinicus Junior who has been lively all evening scored the last goal for the White Angels in Rabat.

Luciano Vietto came knocking on the door again, as he got his brace on the 79th minute to give Al-Hilal the slim dream of getting to El Dorado.

The superiority of the European giant showed up against the team from Saudi Arabia

But it was never to be, as they although gave a good account of themselves, the Spanish side were too good and magnificent on the day.

It ended in a remarkable victory for Real Madrid, as Carlo Ancelotti’s boys conquered the world, becoming the FIFA Club World Champions once again for the fifth occasion.

After the match, Real Madrid posted a video of an elated Carlo Ancelotti with his players celebrating their glorious outing on their official Twitter account with the caption “VAAAAAMOS”

Certainly, it would be a jubilant night in Madrid and for Los Blancos fans across the length and breadth of the globe, they would truly be estactic.
