Despite Dele Alli’s equalizer to Rashford’s first goal, a defender Moussa Sissoko fouled in the box. And the penalty gave the win and ruins Mourinho winning streak.

Meanwhile, the Man U youngster now has nine Premier League goals this season and 12 across all competitions. His boss, Solskjaer praises his incredible performance to save the team.

Solskjaer told reporters “The boy is 22 and today he played like he was in a back yard or garden, a playground with his mates,”. He continues ”He’s just enjoyed himself.

“Sometimes maybe the expectations and pressure on him… we do expect a lot from him because he’s showed it so many times.

“I love to watch that and that’s what the Stretford End loves to watch. Man United fans love to watch wingers or forwards play with courage.”

Solskjaer also appreciates Scotland midfielder Scott McTominay, who took an active role on his return from injury. United climbed into the Premier League’s top six, falling Tottenham to 8th.

McTominay has missed three matches, but the Scottish proved his ability against Mourinho on his Manchester’s return.

Solskjaer praises McTominay ”We can almost say he’s undroppable at the moment, definitely. “There’s no chance I wasn’t going to try and push him through for this game.

He continues ”The physical presence and leadership he gives us in midfield also releases Fred. I thought Fred was excellent today, the one chance they had he blocked. I thought Fred was top class and they’re a good partnership”.

The Norwegian Solskjaer is expected to keep this form as they visit the league champions Manchester City on Saturday. While Mourinho’s side, on the other hand, takes on Burnley.

The Manchesters clash will be a tough one the United.
