Barring any last-minute development, the coming together of Messi, Suarez, and Neymar, who form one of the most feared attacking setups in the history of club football is very like to happen before the end of the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid football club has submitted a €160m bid to Paris Saint Germain for Kylian Mbappe. The French attacker is believed to be a die-hard fan of the Spanish capital outfit. Since childhood, he was never silent about his wish to play for Real Madrid.

Similarly, Real Madrid appeared to have fancied the more mature French attacking force lately due to their relentless pursuit of the forward since his playing days at Monaco. Their latest bid beats the €145m fees he was paid to play for Paris Saint Germain from Monaco.

However, Paris Saint Germain is reluctant in letting the deal go through. Some reports from the French capital claimed KylianMbappe was an influence in wooing Lionel Messi to the club and would be a betrayal on their part to allow him to leave.

They were confident of keeping hold of Mbappe and even tabled a new five-year extension that would see him become the third-highest earner at the club behind Lionel Messi and Neymar.

But Mbappe has shown no willingness to put pen to paper and is said to have rejected that offer.

It was reported that Messi and Neymar were both spotted arriving at Barcelona airport, minutes apart. They flew on separate jets, and both headed in the same direction towards Suarez’s residence.

Messi and Neymar are said to have headed to Castelldefels to meet up with Luis Suarez and his family to have dinner.

Football analysts have quickly interpreted the visit to be extraordinary. In their opinion, Lionel Messi has forever shown his dying wish to have his attacking partners back as much as possible.

The attacking rhythm known with FC Barcelona in La Ligafizzled out since Neymar Junior was sold to Paris Saint Germain. The club became shattered since Suarez’s exit as well pilling on Lionel Messi’s frustration further.

Suarez is due to play this weekend as Atletico Madrid takes on Elche at home on Sunday, their first home game in front of fans for more than a year.

He signed a 2-year deal with Atletico Madrid last summer with a clause in his contract that would allow him to leave AtleticoMadrid for free by next year.

However, the 34-year-old has no intention of triggering this because he is happy in the team and likes working with Diego Simeone.
