Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi is said to be under investigation for allegedly raping a woman.
According to Le Parisien’s report, one 24-year-old young woman has accused the PSG star of sexually assaulting her.
Le Parisien reported that interactions ensued between the 23-year-old accuser and the 24-year-old PSG player from January 16th when Achraf Hakimi and the rape victim had a chitchat on Instagram.
On Saturday, February 25th, the young lady allegedly went to Hakimi’s residence in Boulogne, taking an Uber that the player had ordered for her while his wife and two children were on holiday in Dubai.
And when she arrived at his home, in the Boulogne area of Paris, things reportedly escalated.
The lady claims, as reported by Les Parisien, that Hakimi kissed her on the mouth, lifted her clothes, and smooched her breasts despite her asking him not to.
The lady allegedly revealed that the PSG star also extended to digital penetration; Hakimi was penetrating her with his fingers.
According to Les Parisien, the victim was finally able to set herself free by forcefully pushing Hakimi away with her foot.
And in her testimony, she revealed she sent a text message to a friend, who came to pick her up.
The 23-year-old rape victim whose name is withheld is from Fontenay-sous-Bois in the Parisian suburbs.
She went to a local police station on Sunday, February 26 to file the allegations that she had been sexually assaulted by the 24-year-old Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi.
And according to Le Parisien, the police officer on duty instantly informed his superiors at both local and regional police headquarters due to the severity of the accusations.
Even though the victim chose not to proceed with filing a legal complaint when asked by authorities if she wished to do so, the prosecutor’s office decided to open up an investigation after the woman had presented evidence to the police officers.
Prosecutors have opened an investigation after the alleged victim went to a police station to make a statement.
The case was initially handled by the Créteil prosecutor’s office but it has since been transferred to the Nanterre prosecutor’s office because the rape incident reportedly took place in Boulogne-Billancourt, the town very close to where the club’s stadium, the Parc des Princes, is situated.
Investigation into the sexual assault charges is still in progress and report has it that the victim has not yet been questioned by the investigators.
If the PSG and Moroccan star defender is found guilty of the sexual assaults, he’s likely to face the wrath of the law which could ruin his professional footballing career.
Meanwhile, Acraf Hakimi has been absent for PSG’s last two Ligue 1 fixtures, having been ruled out with a hamstring injury.

It is likely to take some time before anything concrete can happen with the rape allegations that could adversely affect Hakimi’s career.
However, neither Hakimi nor PSG have responded publicly to the accusation but the PSG star doesn’t seem tensed about the accusations.
Achraf Hakimi was smiling on Monday, February 27, during The Best gala that took place in the French capital despite a rape accusation leveled against him that evening.
The Moroccan superstar is very calm despite the news about the case being in the hands of the prosecution.
Despite the prosecution’s prompt intervention to investigate the matter, Hakimi maintains that the accusations of the alleged rape, as reported by Les Parisien, are false.

The 24-year-old Moroccan right-back stood on stage to collect the award alongside other winners including his PSG teammates Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
