An unnamed Premier League player has reportedly faced legal action over unpaid 25,000 pounds dental bill after encountering debt collectors.
According to reports, the unnamed football player owed a dentist £25,000 for Veneers and the said player had to face debt collectors.
The yet to be identified star player got his teeth fixed at a London-based dental room. He acquired custom-made porcelain shapes, to ensure that he had one of the glossiest and broadest smiles in the Premier League.
The football player was reported to have gone through the medication at a London clinic located at Harley Street.
According to reports, it is speculated that the Premier League player didn’t pay for the treatment he got because he believed that he was receiving a freebie appreciation for his reputation.
The player’s action is believed to forced the dentist to call upon the debt collectors to track down the bill and the Premier League star has currently stumped up the money.
Meanwhile, according to insiders, the London court has launched a policy against the football player to force him into action.
The report came after a debt collection agency declared petitions to track down dental customers who owe bills because such debts have increased by 20 percent and are overdue.
The main dentist reportedly called specialist debt collectors and the Premier League player only decided to pay once legal action was authorized.
The lawsuit was disclosed this week in a statement on the increasing amount of dental bill dodging prosecutions in Britain.
Speaking to reporters, Chris Spencer of Frontline Collections said; “He was a Premier League footballer but it ended up going through the court process and eventually we got him to pay”.
While Spencer was discussing the unidentified Premier League player’s case, he added; “He was kind of all over the place and it was well known he was a bit of a playboy. I think he has calmed down now”.
However, Several football players have had their teeth fixed in recent years, including the likes of Roberto Firmino, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Ronaldinho.
Football managers including Brendan Rodgers and Jurgen Klopp have also shown up at press conferences to display their white and fresh smiles.
Veneers are custom-made porcelain shoots that work over the front dirt of players’ teeth to enrich their appearance.
