Piers Morgan took to his Twitter account to blast Manchester United Erik ten Hag for dancing shamelessly after Carabao Cup Win against Newcastle.

After winning his first trophy with Manchester United, Erik ten Hag showed off his dance moves, but not everyone was impressed.

The Red Devils defeated Newcastle at Wembley this afternoon to win the 2023 Carabao Cup.

An own goal by Sven Botman and a header from Casemiro were sufficient to break the team’s six-year trophy drought.

Once the festivities began, Ten Hag was seen performing some dance routines with Antony and Lisandro Martinez.

But, longtime Arsenal supporter and Talk TV broadcaster Piers Morgan, a columnist for Sun Sport, was unimpressed with what he was seeing.

He tweeted after sharing the video: “Can’t believe I’m watching a@ManUtd  manager & players dancing with joy after winning the Carabao Cup … so embarrassing. 🙈”

Yet United supporters enjoyed it, as did Roy Keane, who got into a fight with former Brazil manager Tite over his World Cup dance antics.

The ex-United captain commented on Sky Sports:  “The lads are having a bit of a dance there, my goodness.  Not bad actually to be fair!”

But after the game, he playfully remarked to Ten Hag:  “You should resign after that, tonight!”

The Dutchman then retorted: “I hope we can do it more often.”

Twitter was another platform used by admirers to express their enthusiasm for the dance moves. One fan said: “Erik ten Hag dancing with Antony & Martinez. Iconic!”

Another wrote: “Ten Hag, Martínez and Antony dancing what we love to see.”

While a fellow viewer tweeted: “Ten Hag with the dancing moves. I just love this man.”
