The Caribbean is well-known for its pristine shores and calm waters. That attracted Pep Guardiola to that part of the world after winning his club’s fourth Premier League title in five seasons.
The manager of Manchester City was seen enjoying a well-deserved vacation when he was taken aback by the lapping waves in Barbados.
Guardiola immediately made his way back to land, but he and his wife Cristina Serra don’t let it stop them from taking full use of the sunshine and sea wind.
The Spanish must be feeling very satisfied at this stage of his life, especially with the way things are going well at the Etihad and while on vacation on the lovely island.

Pep Guardiola reacted to the rumors of leaving the club in April by signing a new contract that will keep him in Manchester till 2025.
He went further to secure the English Premier League title last season and maybe most importantly for his mental stability while swimming and having fun carefree in the Caribbean.
Recently, Guardiola signed Erling Haaland, his top transfer target, at the very beginning of the summer transfer window.
While on holiday, the Spanish coach was pictured at the resort immersed in his phone, so it appears that despite all the charms of stunning Barbados, he may still be keeping up with events in European football.
Maybe he was simply scrolling through the day’s selfies but being a thorough manager, he is likely checking on the transfer situation involving two of his senior players, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus.
Arsenal is aggressively pursuing Jesus, while Chelsea is eager to bring Sterling to west London. Tottenham has given up on the Brazilian.
While Guardiola is trying to replace Zack Steffen with Stefan Ortega as City continues to be quietly active in the summer transfer market. It may also be that Pep Guardiola is going through the news to see what their neighbors Manchester United are unto in the transfer window.
Manchester United signed Erik ten Hag as their new manager and the Dutchman is ready to improve his team ahead of next season. But they seem to be finding it difficult to land new players rather than their players leaving Old Trafford.
Pep Guardiola and his team will look to continue their title defense next season when they travel to West Ham United on 7th August 2022. The Blues are still among the top teams without a Champions League title and winning it will be one of their goals during the 2022/23 campaign.
