Paul Pogba of Manchester United wants to form a five-a-side with some of the biggest football stars in the world including the legendary Ronaldinho.
The 28-year-old Frenchman took to his Instagram story to share a picture showing the team he wants to play the five-a-side with.
In his team, he has the likes of Ronaldinho, Paulo Dybala, and Blaise Matuidi. He met the football stars at a nightclub in Miami, the United States of America earlier in July 2021.
He took a picture with the superstars and tagged it with 5V5 and asked “who is ready”. But at last check, nothing concrete has come out from his proposed five-a-side football game.
Though the picture included just four players one of which is a retired football star – Ronaldinho, Paul Pogba believes that the players he took a picture with could win a five-a-side match.
Recall that Ronaldinho was one of the most versatile and creative footballers in the history of the game. The Brazilian football icon played in some of the best clubs in the world before he retired from the game.
Some of the top clubs Ronaldinho has played for are FC Barcelona, AC Milan, and Paris Saint Germain. He has retired before Paul Pogba became an established football star.
On the other hand, the other two players that posed with Paul Pogba – Paulo Dybala and Blaise Matuidi were the teammates of the Manchester United midfielder during his time at Juventus.
They had a wonderful time together at Juventus before Pogba left the Italian club for Manchester United. However, he maintained his relationship with Paulo Dybala and Blaise Matuidi.
Unlike Dybala who is still a prominent footballer at Juventus, Matuidi is no longer a player of the club. The French footballer is currently playing for Inter Miami in the American league – Major League Soccer.
Though the meeting of the four players in the United States could be said to be an accident, they were able to create a wonderful moment in Miami.

Recall that Pogba’s meeting with Dybala sparked transfer speculation. Most people interpreted their meeting as a sign that Pogba intends to return to Juventus.
This speculation gained ground due to the back and forth between the representatives of Pogba and Manchester United over the player’s contract extension issue. Manchester United are interested in extending Pogba’s contract beyond June 2022 when his current contract with the club expires.
Due to the demands, Pogba and his representatives have reportedly made, there are reports that some board members of the club are considering allowing the French midfielder to go this summer.
But the coach of the club, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be very interested in keeping the Frenchman. Hence, the future of Pogba at United is still hanging.
