Having sustained the injury in July 2022, Pogba, 29, has yet to play this year. On November 22, France will play its opening World Cup game against Australia.

Weeks after sustaining the knee injury, Juventus confirmed that the Frenchman has been operated upon and that the procedure, a selective external arthroscopic meniscectomy, is “a total success.”

The first winter World Cup will cause the Serie A season to halt after games on November 13 and resume in January.

When asked if Pogba will be fit to defend his country’s title at the World Cup, Allegri responded, “The World Cup is not my worry; Juventus’ problem is that he comes back in January.”

Pogba returned to the Serie A team this summer when his Manchester United contract expired.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri confirmed that: “This morning Pogba trained for the second time, but then stopped, and it was then decided that he undergo surgery.

“We will realistically get him back in January.”

    What Happened to Pogba?

Paul Pogba missed the Italian team’s trip to Dallas as part of their preseason tour of the US because of an injury he sustained while working out in Los Angeles.

The player was hurt just two weeks after making his Juve comeback. He saw a physician, who confirmed that surgery is required to address the issue.

He reportedly did not appear to be too uncomfortable despite complaining of knee discomfort, but scans have shown the full nature of the injury, and he may be out for months following the operation.

What Did Mbappe Say About Pogba?

Following allegations that the Juventus midfielder utilized a witch doctor to put a spell on him, Kylian Mbappe reportedly got in touch with Paul Pogba and his brother Mathias.

The top player for Paris Saint-Germain reportedly called the Pogba brothers on Thursday to find out why his name had been mentioned in the affair.

Mbappe allegedly called them to gather both siblings’ perspectives in order to better comprehend the situation.

The necessity of talking about the matter is underscored by Mbappe and Pogba’s awareness of how volatile and damaging the incident is for the French team less than two months before the World Cup.
