PSG ask Ontentiente to remove a controversial scene in 4 Zeros
4 Zeros’ director, Fabien Ontentiente, revealed that PSG asked him to remove a controversial scene in the movie.
Speaking in a recent interview, Fabien said PSG took umbrage for a part in the movie that featured a dog which was named ‘Remontada.’
The Ligue 1 giants reportedly requested that the scene be taken off since ‘Remontada,’ which literally translates as ‘comeback,’ is how Barcelona refer to their famous 6-1 Champions League victory over the club in the 2016/17 season.
“Yes, PSG asked for the script involving the dog to be cut off since it is a famous byword referencing the club’s 6-1 loss to Barcelona,” Fabien said
Apart from the haunting memory of the infamous loss to Barcelona, another reason PSG asked for a re-editing of the movie plot is due to its role in the movie.
French outlet reports the plot of the story is woven around a young man, named Kidane, who dreamed of playing for the Ligue 1 giants.
The movie is expected to win hearts and appeal strongly to French movie lovers, especially soccer fans with Pogba’s presence among the cast.
Pogba drops verse in a song
Meanwhile, Pogba is not only trying his hands on acting. He is also experimenting with his musical skills. We reported earlier the footballer has dropped a verse in a new song titled, ‘Eat Life.’ Details of the song have yet to be released, but it could be a banger as his fans would be eager to have a dose of the Juventus’ man’s rap skills.
Notably, Pogba is embarking on all these adventures in the French entertainment industry amidst a doping ban that froze him out of action for several months.
He was expected to serve a four-year ban till 2027 but will now be back to action in March 2025 after the Court of Arbitration for Sports reduced the ban to 18 months.
