The former Manchester United star was allegedly given the 12-month suspended prison sentence for reportedly abandoning his family for two years, leaving behind £800,000 alimony debt to his ex-partner Sandra.
In addition to the suspended sentence, Evra has been ordered to pay €4,000 for moral damages and €2,000 in legal costs.
