It seems like the Ballon d’Or award is not the only award that is questionable this year. The ‘Yachine Trophy‘ award that is usually given to the best goalkeeper in the world was given to the second-best goalkeeper instead of the goalkeeper that has the best record to date.
Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has the best stats so far and has accomplished more than Gianluigi Donnarumma. However, the French hosted award Yachine goalkeeper award was given to Donnarumma.
