The Opta SuperComputer has predicted favorites to win the 2023/24 Champions League as football fans await the thrill of the quarterfinal clashes kicking off on April 9, 2024.
The road to Wembley, where the final of the elite club competition in Europe will be played, was laid out in March 2023 when the quarterfinal and semifinal draw were confirmed
PSG will tackle Barcelona with the winner facing either Borussia Dortmund or Atletico Madrid while Arsenal will take on Bayern Munich with the winner facing either Manchester City or Real Madrid.
Ahead of the quarterfinal first leg, the Opta SuperComputer has calculated the odds of all the quarterfinalists as per their chance of winning the competition.
Atletico Madrid are down on the ladder with just a 5% chance of winning the competition. The LaLiga giants knocked out 2022/23 finalists Inter Milan to reach the last eight of the competition.
Arsenal, who are chasing their first Premier League title in 20 years are allotted a 13.6% chance of winning what could be their first continental crown.
The Gunners knocked out former winners and Portuguese giants Porto via penalties to reach the quarterfinals.
French giants and 2019 finalists, PSG, who knocked out Real Sociedad, are given a 14.7% chance to win.
Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona are given 13.6% and 14.2%, respectively.
Real Madrid and Manchester City are the top two favorites to win with higher odds. The Los Blancos are given a chance score of 15% while the defending champions Manchester City are given 41%.
From the foregoing, the winner of the quarterfinal clash between Real Madrid and Manchester City is more likely to emerge champion. Manchester City have been handed a 60% chance to beat Real Madrid and possibly defend the title.
